Kelly Russ - MMC Team Spotlight

Kelly joined MMC in 2019, after a long career as a US Naval Officer and Management Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Kelly has lived all around the world, land and water!

While in the Navy, Kelly spent several years at the NATO Center for Excellence. We often don’t think of the efficiencies and innovation in government, however much of modern day advancements in medicine, machines & strategy were born in our government. Kelly had the opportunity to serve at the center for today’s government innovations. In her time at the center, Kelly ran administration for Joint Special Operations. While she managed budgets and deliverables, much like her work today, she also was responsible for the strategy and planning for all maritime assets in Special Operations. Special Operations are the unconventional missions carried out by elite forces using specialized resources and tactics, ie. the missions without established instructions and protocol. Projects with: high risk, high reward & immense need for quick detailed planning coupled with sound decision making…..and a little pressure.
